The company, which supplies electrical equipment to local and national customers, took a 2,755 sq ft trade counter at Shrewsbury’s premier trade park destination on a new 10 year lease from January 2012.
Since their move to Vanguard Park, Powerlec Distributors Ltd have reported that trade has increased significantly.
Justin Ames, Shropshire area manager of Powerlec Distributors Ltd, said: “The past months have seen our business go from strength to strength, with an increase of 30% in passing trade alone. We are very pleased with both the location and layout of the unit and trade has never been so good.”
Liz Lowe, Head of Estates at the developers, Morris Property, said: “When designing the trade counters at Vanguard Park, we listened carefully to the needs of occupiers and believe that we have been able to offer the market prominent, well designed units, with the benefit of ample customer parking.
“We have let over 20,000 sq ft in the past nine months and as a result of continued demand, we are now building a further 23,509 sq ft.”
The new units are available to let or purchase, with units starting at 2,539 sq ft.
