Duo of lets at Dakota building in Weybridge

Acting on behalf of RO Real Estate (“The RO”), property consultants, Vail Williams LLP, secured the lease of 33% of space at one of the RO’s flagship properties, the Dakota building in Weybridge.

The Dakota building is the first multi-tenanted building in Europe to achieve Fitwel certification, a simple, easy to apply healthy building measure that is quickly gaining traction in the UK and Europe.

Founded in 1948, Robert Half (NYSE: RHI) is the world’s second largest recruitment company and pioneered specialised recruitment services helping companies hire accounting, finance, banking, technology, marketing and administrative professionals on a temporary, contract and permanent basis. The firm has taken the entire third floor equating to 3,131 sq. ft.

Yoooserv, which has taken 9,397 sq. ft. on the ground floor, is a premium office space company offering virtual, serviced or co-working spaces, desk hire and meeting rooms, with high-end options to fit any budget. The company has already let over 50% of its space to a variety of companies and individuals wishing to benefit from its flexible working serviced office space.

Elliot McNish, surveyor at Vail Williams responsible for marketing the building, commented: “We’re pleased to have helped The RO Group attract two great tenants to this unique building. The quality of space on offer at Dakota makes it an extremely appealing proposition, one which is now supported by a focus on workplace wellbeing – something which is increasingly important to prospective tenants looking to create a unique and rewarding workplace for their people.”

Dakota is an impressive contemporary office building with imposing scale and prominence situated in a prime location, with great parking and transport links.

It comprises around 39,461 sq. ft. of office space across three floors and is a Grade A, multi-let workplace prominently positioned at the entrance to the internationally renowned Brooklands, which is rich in history and offers a modern business environment.

Brooklands has already attracted major national and multinational companies including Sony, Proctor & Gamble, Mercedes-Benz, Royal Caribbean International and Samsung. A David Lloyds fitness centre, three cafes, Marks & Spencer and Tesco are all reachable within a five minute walk.

David Kershaw, Group Real Estate Director, concluded: “Dakota was the first building to secure Fitwel certification for a multi-tenanted building in Europe, and was specifically designed to exacting standards with wellbeing in mind.

“The result is an office environment that can positively contribute to the employee feel good factor, lift productivity and aid staff retention. Robert Half and Yoooserv were attracted by this and we are delighted to welcome such high quality blue chip tenants to our building.”
