Bruton Knowles has been appointed on three regional panels of the Government’s prized Estates Professional Services framework which provides Public Sector bodies with a ‘one stop shop’ solution for professional property related services.

The framework is part of the CCS’ drive to streamline its occupational estate and reduce its spending so has been designed to provide all central government departments, devolved administrations and wider public sectors with a simplified means of sourcing estate-related services to support the delivery of property requirements and projects.

Of the eight regional panels up for grabs, Bruton Knowles has been appointed on East/West Midlands, North East and Wales/South West.

The framework will run for four years.

Managing Partner Patrick Downes said: “I am really pleased that Bruton Knowles has been appointed to the Crown Commercial Service Professional Services framework which represents confidence in our ability to consistently deliver high quality advice from our national network of offices.

“Being awarded a place on this framework is a key part of our plan to further extend our reach within the Public Sector through our expanding service offering.”

Property-related services that will be available through the framework includes Estate Management, Strategic Advice, Development Consultancy, Acquisition and Disposal of Property, Building Surveying Services, Lease advisory, Business Rates, Telecoms, Valuations, Planning, CPO and Agricultural Services.

Patrick Downes concluded: “Bruton Knowles is well placed to help reduce the size of the estate, exit inefficient leases, reduce running costs, and release capital while at the same time support the government’s sustainability agenda.”
