Letting secured as Great Charles Street welcomes SDL Bigwood

Property and auction business, SDL Group is consolidating two of its Birmingham offices by taking three floors at AG Dunedin’s 154 Great Charles Street.

The Group’s Birmingham-based businesses have taken 10,000 sq ft over the ground, first and second floors of the building on a 10 year lease.

The ground floor suite will be occupied by the company’s Century 21 Bigwood residential sales and letting team, which is relocating from Colmore Row, while the upper floors will host the property management and the SDL Auctions Bigwood teams, which are currently based on Summer Row.

The eight storey, 154 Great Charles Street is one of seven buildings acquired by AG Dunedin in 2015 and extends to a total of 32,736 sq ft.

154 is primed to undergo an extensive £2 million programme of refurbishment works that will include the delivery of a new reception and tenant lounge, two new lifts, improvements to common areas and a full refurbishment of the currently vacant fourth and eight floors.

It is the fourth building on the Great Charles Street Estate to be refurbished by Dunedin, following the completion of works at Lombard House and Charles House and the ongoing redevelopment of Crossway.
