Nurton Capital acquisition provides rare freehold opportunity in Coventry

Nurton Capital has completed the £3.84 million acquisition of Albion Enterprise Park in Coventry as it continues to build a portfolio of investment opportunities across key regional markets.

The Birmingham-based business has acquired the newly completed estate to sell the units individually on a freehold basis, providing a particularly rare opportunity for SMEs and growing businesses to own modern, prime industrial premises in a market where new-build freehold stock is in limited supply.

Albion Enterprise Park comprises three terraces of modern production, logistics and trade units, ranging from 1,367 sq ft to 3,165 sq ft, with the flexibility to combine units to provide larger accommodation.

Developed to a high specification, the units benefit from fitted mezzanine floors, electric loading doors, pedestrian entrances, first-floor glazing, allocated parking and EV charging points.

Ashley Hudson, managing director of Nurton Capital, said:

“Albion Enterprise Park is another excellent acquisition for Nurton Capital and exactly the type of opportunity we want to secure.

“It is a brand-new, high-specification development in one of the Midlands’ strongest industrial markets, but what really sets it apart is the opportunity it gives businesses to own their premises.

“There is very little new-build freehold industrial stock available in Coventry and limited supply across the wider West Midlands, particularly in units of this size, creating a rare investment opportunity.

“For many SMEs, buying their own building is an important part of their growth journey. We believe Albion will appeal both to established Coventry businesses looking to make that move and to companies from elsewhere in the region attracted by the quality of the accommodation and the strength of the location.”

Coventry has an established manufacturing and engineering base, and Nurton Capital believes bringing new and expanding businesses onto the estate has the potential to support further investment and job creation in the city.

The estate has reached practical completion and is suitable for a range of manufacturing, logistics, trade and industrial uses.

Located approximately 1.5 miles north of Coventry city centre and around two miles south of Junction 3 of the M6, Albion Enterprise Park provides strong connectivity to Birmingham and the wider Midlands motorway network.

The acquisition follows Nurton Capital’s recent purchase of 2 Exchange Court at Wolverhampton Business Park. Led by Hudson and backed by Nurton Developments, Nurton Capital is targeting well-located assets where active asset management and repositioning can unlock value and generate strong returns for its investment partners.

Bromwich Hardy will be marketing the units at Albion Enterprise Park.
