Commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond – now part of Eddisons – has completed one of Olney’s most significant industrial transactions in recent years, securing the off-market sale of a substantial industrial site to Country Supplies.
The purchase – in excess of £2.5 million – marks a major expansion for Country Supplies, a longstanding supplier to the landscaping and fencing trade.
Situated on more than two acres at Stilebrook Road, Olney, Buckinghamshire, the site includes approximately 18,368 sq ft of high-quality industrial warehousing with offices and mezzanine space. The property benefits from four dock-level loading bays to the front and level loading access to the rear.
Paul Quy, industrial and logistics partner and head of Milton Keynes agency at Kirkby Diamond, said: “We’re thrilled to have facilitated another major transaction in Olney. Opportunities of this scale and quality don’t come to market often, which makes this deal particularly notable. This is the second significant transaction we’ve completed in the town in the past six months, highlighting the strong and sustained occupier demand we’re seeing in the area.”
Michael Bryant, managing director of Country Supplies, said: “We are delighted to have secured such a rare opportunity in Olney and are excited about the potential this site offers for our future growth. Kirkby Diamond played an instrumental role in bringing the deal together. Paul and the team at Kirkby Diamond were outstanding from start to finish, guiding us seamlessly through the process.”
Over the past 30 years, Country Supplies has built a reputation for reliable, high-quality product delivery and operates a 20-vehicle fleet offering next-day delivery within a 40-mile radius of High Wycombe.
Located in the popular market town of Olney, Buckinghamshire, the facility offers strong transport links, including convenient access to Junction 14 of the M1 and fast rail connections to London from Milton Keynes Central and Bedford.
The acquisition further underscores the continued strength of the industrial and logistics market across the region, with demand for well-located, flexible space remaining robust.
Eddisons has expanded in the South East by acquiring Kirkby Diamond, adding 62 staff across five offices and £6.2m turnover, strengthening its agency, property management and land development services while extending its footprint across the M1 corridor.
With strategically located offices within the M25 and along the M1/A1 and M11 corridors, Kirkby Diamond’s industrial and logistics team offers a unique blend of local expertise and regional reach. This combination allows them to provide tailored advice to institutional investors, landlords, developers, and occupiers, positioning Kirkby Diamond as one of the region’s top-performing property consultancies.
