DM Hall, one of Scotland’s leading independent firms of Chartered Surveyors, has congratulated its most recent cohort of colleagues who have successfully achieved professional qualification with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Their achievements come in course of a landmark year in which the firm welcomed the largest graduate intake in its 128-year history.

Most recently, Colin Ross (Building Consultancy, Glasgow), Harry Pattullo (Commercial Agency, Edinburgh) and Thomas Fergusson (Residential, Stirling) have passed their Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) assessments to become fully qualified members of the RICS.

In addition over the course of this year, Hannah Thompson (Residential, Inverurie), Kieran Reddichan (Residential, Dundee) and Kirsty Tibbetts (Residential, Dumfries), also secured their AssocRICS qualifications, marking a continued period of strong professional development and success across the firm.

These milestones follow DM Hall’s record 2025 graduate intake, when 15 new graduates joined the firm, its largest annual intake in decades. The expansion reflects DM Hall’s refreshed commitment to nurturing new talent, with Partner, Ian Woods, assuming enhanced graduate training and recruitment responsibilities as part of the initiative.

Ian said: “It has been an exceptional year for professional progression at DM Hall. Colin, Harry, Thomas, Hannah, Kieran and Kirsty have all demonstrated the discipline, dedication and professionalism that we strive to cultivate across our training programmes.

“Their qualifications are the culmination of significant effort, guided learning and hands-on experience. Coupled with our record graduate intake this year, these successes underscore our long-term commitment to developing the next generation of surveyors.”

John McHugh, Managing Partner of DM Hall, added: “We are delighted to welcome our newly qualified colleagues into full professional membership. Their achievements reflect both their personal commitment and the strength of the structured training framework we have built within the firm.

“This has been a landmark year for investment in new talent, with a record number of graduates joining us and now a further group moving forward into full RICS membership.

“These young professionals will help shape the future direction of DM Hall as we continue to grow across all of the markets we operate in throughout Scotland and the wider UK.”

DM Hall remains committed to attracting, developing and retaining the profession’s next generation, ensuring that every graduate has a clear pathway to achieving their professional goals within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
