Licence Check, the software company behind the market leading platform DAVIS which manages driver and vehicle compliance, has taken 2,300 sq ft at Nurton Developments’ landmark office scheme, Cardinal Square, in Derby.
The move reflects the company’s commitment to developing greater collaboration, connection, and wellbeing across its 20-strong team, many of whom work on a hybrid basis.
Licence Check, which was founded in 2008 and now owned by parent company Ebbon Group, has been based in Derby City Centre since 2016 after initially operating in Nottingham.
The new offices have had a contemporary fit out prioritising breakout areas with comfortable and soft seating rather than a desk heavy environment where its tech-led teams can come together to communicate and innovate when working in the office, helping them stay connected and aligned.

The new office and fit out also reflect the company’s growth and expansion beyond licence checking into broader driver risk management, helping organisations nationwide with compliance, safety and fleet governance.
