FirethornTrust expands team with new hires

FirethornTrust has made three new recruits to its expanding team as it bolsters its in-house development capabilities to support the growing development pipeline.

Robert Kempster has joined as development manager having previously held project management roles at Currie & Bowen and Sweett Group. With a track record including Intu Broadmarsh, St Edburg’s Place, Bicester and Fosse Lanes, Leicester, he has extensive experience of the whole delivery cycle from initial concept design, to tenant negotiation and project delivery

Serena Tate joins as finance manager having previously trained as a chartered accountant (CA) at Smith & Williamson, where she was responsible for audit and advisory services for a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Her arrival will bring added financial rigour and analytical skills to FirethornTrust’s team.

The team will also be joined by a new executive assistant and office manager, Harriet Proud, who will provide vital administrative support.

Chris Webb, partner at FirethornTrust, said: “As the business continues to evolve, our priority is to ensure we add quality personnel to the team. The blend of our in-house expertise and technical skills is one of the key points that sets us apart and is essential as we move into delivery mode on a pipeline which includes over 800,000 sq ft of logistics space, a 400-bed hotel and 280 serviced apartments.”

FirethornTrust is a private property company with a core focus on developing institutional quality ‘midbox’ logistics assets throughout the UK, as well as seeking opportunistic investment and development projects.
