Welsh law firm extends support for ESTnet

South Wales-based HardingEvans Solicitors has pledged its support to the ESTnet, the electronic and software technologies industry network in Wales, by extending its Affiliate Membership of the group.

The ESTnet represents organisations across Wales, including 70% of the Welsh Government’s ICT Sector Anchor companies and with around 80 per cent of its members being small and medium companies. The network is led by a board of directors with strong industry backgrounds and a wealth of multi-national experience to drive the sector forward.

HardingEvans is the only solicitors firm to be affiliated with the ESTnet and as an affiliate advises the ESTnet on its legal issues as well as providing services to some member companies.

Mike Jenkins, Commercial Partner at HardingEvans said: “Our on-going appointment as Affiliate Members enables us to continue to work and support a group of dynamic companies who are major players in the global technologies market.

“The ESTnet’s approach to collaborative working creates an exciting environment where strong business relationships develop and HardingEvans is proud to be a part of it.”

Avril Lewis, Managing Director of The ESTnet said: “HardingEvans is a part of a small but nevertheless valuable Affiliate Membership who offer particular expertise which we make available to our membership. The HardingEvans team includes a group of lawyers who have at their disposal a wide range of legal skills and knowledge as well as a practical approach to dealing with business challenges.

“We are pleased to have them on board again this year and look forward to working with them as we continue to grow the ESTnet membership and promote the industry as one of Wales and the UK’s most vital economic sectors.”

Created in 2011, the ESTnet is a network of electronic and software technologies organisations whose members design, develop, manufacture or integrate electronic and software technologies and whose associated members include supply chains and the professional services which support it.
The network provides a collaborative environment in which people and organisations working with these enabling technologies can create strong business relationships, exchange knowledge and share ideas.

HardingEvans is one of South Wales’ most progressive law firms, offering a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals.
