New company set to grow at Frome business park

A new business selling hydroponics equipment has set up in a modern unit at a Frome business park.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the letting of Unit 19 at Commerce Park on a new six-year lease at a quoting rent of £9,500 per year.

Myddelton & Major Surveyor Gary Mead said: “Flower Childz Ltd is a new business specialising in the sale of hydroponics equipment.

“Hydroponics is the process of growing plants without soil, in liquid, sand or gravel with added nutrients.

“The 1,500 sq ft (139,35 sq m) unit is in Jenson Court, a 21-unit development on Commerce Park which is on the A361 Frome bypass, approximately 14 miles south of Bath and 13 miles from the A303.

“Other established businesses at Commerce Park include Screwfix, Storagebase, Cox & Cox and Euro Car Parts. There is also a Premier Inn hotel, pub, and a petrol filling station and convenience store.”

Frome is on the Somerset/Wiltshire border with excellent road and rail access to major networks. Bristol airport is approximately 30 miles away.
