First phase of Black Country industrial estate nearly fully let

Coxdome has taken one of the last remaining units at Vaughan Park, Tipton.

The company, which manufactures glass skylights and rooflights, has agreed a five-year tenancy on Unit 3 (11,876 sq ft) with the landlord CEG.

The letting means just one unit (24,155 sq ft) on the first phase of the industrial estate remains available to let.

Vaughan Park is a 28-acre industrial estate on the A457 Tipton Road. Phase one of the development comprises five units totaling 81,198 sq ft. Occupiers include Dolphin Lifts, Viking Supply Net and NGeneration. Phase two has been pre-let to DPD.

Once completed, Vaughan Park will provide approximately 400,000 sq ft of industrial and warehouse accommodation.

Luke Thacker, associate director in the industrial and logistics team at CBRE, joint agents with Bulleys on Vaughan Park, said: “There is a pressing need for industrial and logistics space in the Black Country, the West Midlands’ traditional industrial heartland, with Vaughan Park helping to meet demand from occupiers.

“We’re pleased to have secured the letting to Coxdome, adding another name to the growing tenant list at the park.”
