FHP Property Consultants’ string of successful lettings and sales on Cotes Park Industrial Estate in Alfreton, just off J28 of the M1 and the A38 continues with the latest deal completed by Tim Gilbertson, Director of FHP.
A further 25,000ft² building has been let to expanding local occupier George Utz Limited, securing a rapidly completed disposal of good quality warehouse space on the site.
Tim Gilbertson, who acted on behalf of the landlord in the disposal, commented: –
“It was a pleasure to deal with George Utz and to help with their continued success and expansion on the estate. This is the latest in a stream of deals where we have transacted on over 200,000ft² on the estate already within 2019 with a string of both leasehold and freehold disposals.
The Junction 28 market continues to perform well and the biggest issue, as always seems to be the case, is the lack of stock and options as we had to disappoint again other potential tenants for this building.
We have an excellent warehouse of just over 40,000ft² available on the other side of the M1 which offers high calibre second-hand space immediately available and we also have a speculatively built building of 72,000ft² which are the only mid / large range stock available at this motorway junction.
Both are likely to be taken up soon, so it would be a great time, with the market still alive and kicking, to put on further space in the region to meet demand”.
