HardingEvans invests in new technology to modernise its practice and increase its competitive edge

A leading South Wales firm of solicitors has implemented a six-figure IT investment programme to give its clients a state of the art service.

The new system will enable Harding Evans to streamline and reduce paperwork, and in the process, improve how it interacts and supports its clients.

HardingEvans made the significant investment into LawSoft, a Thomas Reuters Elite Solution, after a critical evaluation of top competitors concluded that LawSoft’s comprehensive functionality and flexibility would better support the continuing demands of an expanding law practice.

John Allison, partner, Head of Conveyancing at HardingEvans, said: “Changes to the legal services landscape have meant that growing law firms need to be able to provide cost-efficient, high quality services with an appropriate degree of automation. We have ambitious plans for growth and an integral part of our strategy is to ensure our service delivery meets our clients’ expectations in what is an ever-changing market.

“Ultimately, LawSoft enables us to improve efficiencies to the advantage of our clients and our bottom line. We feel that LawSoft will support the diverse service delivery challenges we face in the way we provide legal advice to our clients. It will also help drive forward some of our business initiatives which are designed to open up new revenue streams.”

The six figure investment by the firm was part funded by Lombard.

Mark Mountford, Relationship Director from Lombard, said: “Continued investment within a business is an important message that we at Lombard are championing. Ambitious businesses, such as HardingEvans, that invest in the most up to date technology are sure to remain at the top of their game and while this investment not only benefits their customers and contributes to their own bottom line, it has a positive impact on the economy of the region too.”

The firm will tailor LawSoft’s workflow, document management and automated drafting technology to streamline its services and deliver high quality products directly to clients online. LawSoft offers the best technical platform and toolkit, providing the firm with the flexibility needed to be as dynamic as possible well into the future.

HardingEvans is one of south Wales’ most progressive law firms, offering a full range of legal services to businesses and individuals.
