Refurbished 30,000 sq ft Vertex building in Altrincham to ease shortage of Grade A office space in south Manchester

A shortage of Grade A office space across south Manchester will be eased this summer by the delivery of almost 30,000 sq ft at the fully refurbished Vertex building in Altrincham.

The private client owner of Vertex has appointed the office agency team at the Manchester office of real estate advisors Colliers International to market the contemporary headquarters office building on Stamford Street at modern and forward-thinking businesses.

On completion of the refurbishment in July, Vertex will provide a total of 29,337 sq ft (2.726 sq metres) of Grade A space on four floors, with flexible floor plates offering an average of 8,100 sq ft across a range of working layouts.

The building will also feature a new double height reception, improved frontage, new lifts and toilets, cycle storage, and extensive parking for cars including electric charging points.

Within a few minutes’ walk of Vertex is the multi award-winning Altrincham Market with its independent food and drink operators and the town’s transport interchange, providing rail, tram, bus and cycling links to local, regional, national and international destinations via Stockport and Manchester Piccadilly rail stations and Manchester Airport.

Scott Shufflebottom, associate director, national offices at Colliers International, said: “On completion in July, the comprehensive refurbishment of Vertex will provide an exceptional HQ building in a proven location to meet rising occupational demand for Grade A office space throughout south Manchester. Vertex is the latest success story in a market town that has truly reinvented itself and we therefore predict a great level of interest from prospective occupiers.”
