A Redditch construction company has laid the foundations for further expansion.
M & D Carpentry Building Contractors Ltd, unit 21, Enfield Industrial Estate, has acquired the next door premises, No 20, in a deal organised by commercial property agents John Truslove.
The long established firm has a history of being involved in all aspects of building work including asbestos removal.
Operating across the UK, it serves the domestic, commercial and industrial sectors.
John Truslove partner Ian Parker said: “M&D are a well-known and well-respected local business.
“This is a major leap forward for an SME operation but they have done their homework and I am sure they will make the most of it.
“They are showing ambition and drive in a difficult economic climate, and deserve to succeed.”
Unit 20 is 3,247 sq ft. Enfield is the nearest modern industrial estate to the town centre.
