BizSpace invests £6 million into new Gloucester site

BizSpace, the largest provider of flexible workspace with offices and workshops across the UK, is opening its second business centre in Gloucester.

Once the HQ of Bird Eye’s Wall’s Ice Cream, the office campus at Barnwood Point Business park consists of two buildings, providing more than 43,000 sq ft of office space over three and four floors.

Purchased for £3 million in December 2017, BizSpace has invested a further £3 million into fully refurbishing the second building, both inside and out. They have created 75 serviced offices, ranging in size from 125 sq ft to 2,500 sq ft, together with generous communal areas, an updated reception and co-working space. Free car parking is available onsite and 100mb broadband included with each contract.

The site is well located and highly visible, fronting Corinium Avenue, with good transport links via Junction 11a of the M5 Motorway (2 miles away) and to Gloucester City Centre (2 miles).

Letting starts on the 17th September, with a launch event taking place later in the year.

Emma Long, Commercial Director at BizSpace, commented: “We are delighted to be providing a second business centre for Gloucester, creating a contemporary workspace by breathing new life into a 1960s landmark building that was once home to one of the area’s most significant occupiers. With a very successful centre at Moreland’s in the city already, we know the small business community in this area well and this new centre is a response to the significant demand for high-quality office space from local small businesses and entrepreneurs.

We see one of our roles as bringing people together and enabling regeneration of local communities and we look forward to welcoming a diverse range of the region’s businesses as our new customers.”
