Whitehill attracts new business

A new tenant has signed up to take space at the Whitehill Industrial Estate in Wootton Bassett.

Alder King Property Consultants acted on behalf of landlord RV Mawhood Group to let Unit 39 to Akcess Ltd on a new five year lease at an undisclosed rent.  The unit is a 3,400 sq ft building and offers clear span warehouse area, with office space and WC facilities.

Akcess Ltd work closely with Swindon Borough Council and Social Services with over 25 vehicles in their fleet, Akcess Ltd can provide transport for individuals or companies anywhere or anytime.

Alison Williams, senior surveyor at Alder King said: “The development offers generous car parking areas and good vehicle circulation facilities.  The landlord of the estate also offers existing tenants options to expand into larger premises on site, to suit the needs of the business in the future.”

Whitehill Industrial Estate comprises 51 warehouse buildings, providing a wide range of units.  It is located on Whitehill Lane in the town centre, within five minutes drive of Junction 16 of the M4.

The scheme has attracted a wide range of businesses including builders’ merchants, courier services, corporate events provider, shop fitters to the likes of Primark, nutritional supplements manufacturer, clothing retailer, bespoke metal manufacturers and finishers.  There is also a family welfare charity on site, which benefit from the fact there is no VAT on the rent at Whitehill.  The lack of VAT on any charges also improves cash flow for any business.
