BNP Paribas Real Estate has made two key appointments to strengthen its UK investment team following its appointment of CEO John Slade four weeks ago. Paul Abrey joins as executive director and James Russell as director.
Paul Abrey will work directly with John Slade to increase BNP Paribas Real Estate’s investment offer to clients. Paul was head of the commercial division at Chesterton Humberts and prior to that spent 20 years at DTZ.
James Russell will join BNP Paribas Real Estate’s national investment team, which is led by Paul Griffiths. James is currently at Accrue Capital and was previously a member of Jones Lang LaSalle’s European Capital Markets team and DTZ’s investment team.
John Slade commented: ‘Paul Abrey and James Russell bring significant capital markets experience. They will initially focus on our offer to UK national and London investor clients but will also increasingly facilitate cross border deals for our significant international client base. We will continue to make further senior appointments in the coming months in line with our strategy of boosting our transactional business.’
