CBRE acquires prime Doncaster industrial investment

Acting on behalf of a local authority pension fund, the Capital Markets team at CBRE in Leeds has acquired a 320,000 sq.ft warehouse investment on Omega Boulevard, Capitol Park in Thorne, Doncaster for a price in excess of £22 million from a private investor. Savills Leeds office advised the vendor.

The freehold property comprises a strategically located manufacturing/ distribution facility situated close to Junction 6 of the M18 fully let to leading kitchen manufacturer, Omega PLC until 2034

Capitol Park forms part of one of the UK’s most successful manufacturing and distribution hubs in the north of England. The area has seen a huge amount of occupier take up in recent years, including the letting of 1.3 million sq.ft to the world’s largest online retailer at the nearby iPort, one of the largest letting deals in the north of England for many years.
