Final industrial/distribution development completed at Ivanhoe Business Park

CWC Group’s Ivanhoe Business Park at Ashby-de-la-Zouch is now full in terms of opportunities for warehouse or manufacturing companies.

With some new build office space still available to purchase or rent, the last of the industrial or distribution plots has now been disposed of, with the bespoke build construction and sale of over 25,000ft² to Vivid Laminating Technologies Limited, who relocate from Coalville.

Already the home to numerous distribution and manufacturing companies plus a range of office occupiers and ancillary, the final manufacturing and distribution deal on the park sees Vivid Laminating Technologies take 25,000ft² of purpose built Grade A space to enable their expansion and relocation as their business goes from strength to strength.

Phil Randle of Salloway, in conjunction with joint agent Tim Gilbertson of FHP, acted on behalf of CWC Group in the sale of this building and Phil commented:

“The latest occupier we have managed to attract to Ivanhoe Business Park is Vivid Laminating Technologies Limited. Previously based in Coalville, we are delighted to welcome them to Ivanhoe Business Park as this expansion and relocation will enable their business to go from strength to strength.

This deal sees all the industrial and distribution land now developed out at Ivanhoe, where well over 200,000ft² of space has been built in recent years. We wish Vivid well in their expansion and relocation.”

James Richards, Development Director of CWC Group commented:

“This is the last of our industrial/distribution deals on the park as we now simply have some new build office space available to either purchase or rent. Ivanhoe Business Park has been one of the groups best performing schemes for many years and whilst a source of great satisfaction in bringing Vivid Laminating Technologies to the site, with the development of a bespoke 25,000ft² unit for them it is tinged with a little sadness as this was the last plot available on the park. We do hope that we will have opportunities on other sites to bring much needed space to the market in the region as Ashby and surrounding areas continues to struggle for stock.

In the meantime though we wish Vivid well for the future at what we know will be a fantastic location for them.”

Managing Director of Vivid Laminating Technologies Limited Martin Edwards commented:

“This move will be truly transforming for Vivid with our new manufacturing facility, larger showroom and offices.  It’s the perfect site to receive our customers from literally all over the world. The amenity of the business park is second to none.  Clowes and Roe have been great to work with, it’s very refreshing to find two companies working in this industry that simply want to build you what you want.  I can highly recommend them.”
