New tenants confirmed at speculatively developed First Point Business Park

Leading property consultancy Commercial Property Partners LLP (CPP) have facilitated the letting of a new build industrial warehouse unit in Doncaster, securing two new tenants for Watervole Way, First Point Business Park.

International leaders in the safe, systematic transportation of glass, cans and PET-containers, new tenant Cartonplast Group will relocate their UK base from Shaw Lane Industrial Estate to First Point Business Park. The occupancy will see Cartonplast Group move into the 44,500 sq ft speculatively built unit, with S&G Alfab Ltd, aluminium fabrications manufacturers, occupying the remaining 20,000 sq ft. The new tenants have signed 10 and 8 year leases respectively.

The high quality industrial warehouse unit offers two-storey, fully fitted offices as well as three dock level loading doors and four full height level access doors.

Home to Amazon, Victoria Plum, and within close proximity of the iPort development, First Point Business Park is situated just 1.5 miles from Junction 3 of the M18, providing great transport links to the rest of the country.

Toby Vernon, leading Partner at CPP, said: “We are delighted to see this speculatively developed unit fully let in just 3 months following its completion in April this year. This is indicative of the latent demand for high quality industrial schemes in the area; our client’s decision to speculatively build on the site is an encouraging sign for the market in the region which is currently suffering from a shortage of good quality units across all size ranges.”

Barnsdales were joint agents on the scheme.
