Developer of Frontier Park in Blackburn, Monte, the development vehicle of Zuber and Moshin Issa, has submitted two further planning applications for scheme elements last week.
A reserved matters application for a 186,000 sqft B8 warehouse is scheduled to be determined before the end of October. This will allow construction to start at the end of the year, once the scheme enabling works are complete. This unit will be available for occupation in September 2018.
A second application has been submitted for a 95,250 sqft, 1,400 person capacity conference centre and 150 bedroom hotel on 15 acres at the front of the scheme.

Construction work started in May 2017 to provide a new access, service connections and topographical remodelling. This phase is well progressed and scheduled for completion at end of the year.
Work on the Euro Garages service area, which fronts the Whitebirk roundabout, will start in August with an opening scheduled for December 2017.
