As part of their ongoing growth programme, Lee Walkup, owner of Walkup Holdings Ltd, has acquired a development site at Anglers Lane in Derby through FHP Property Consultants.
The site extends to some 1.85 acres on the east side of the City off Nottingham Road in Spondon having easy access to the A52 and road connections beyond. FHP were marketing the site for sale.
Mr Walkup who has interests in plant hire, contract earthmoving and Haulage established his first company in 1989 and provides a range of services to both the public sector and private construction industry including waste management, transport and environmental solutions. Ian Torr of Cleggs solicitors handled the acquisition on behalf of Mr Walkup, whilst J H Powell and Co solicitors acted on behalf of the vendor.
