Cardiff firm has designs on UK hotel sector

Cardiff-based Boyes Rees Architects has drawn up plans for four significant hotel schemes in south east England with a total project value of £24.5 million.

On behalf of Crown Properties, Boyes Rees has designed a new £3.1m Travelodge in Balham, London. Appointed contractor Opco is due to start work imminently on the budget hotel which is located adjacent to Balham Station in the centre of Balham.

Boyes Rees has also submitted planning applications for a two-storey 118-bedroom Express by Holiday Inn in Brixton and a four-storey 155-bedroom Express by Holiday Inn in Wimbledon, both on behalf of Crown Properties with a total value of £15 million.
