Planning application made for speculative industrial development at Airfield Drive, Aldridge

Leading Midlands’s commercial developer, Trebor Developments and funding partner, Kay Properties (Midlands) Limited, have submitted a detailed planning application for the development of a 55,000 sq ft, high quality, industrial unit on the 3.34 acre site in Aldridge.

Subject to planning consent, the building will be constructed in 2017 with a start on site in June for occupation by the end of the year.

Bob Tattrie, Managing Partner for Trebor Developments, commented on behalf of the partners, “The submission of planning is the next key step in bringing forward this quality scheme, which will deliver much needed industrial accommodation in the West Midlands to meet occupier requirements for medium sized accommodation on a B2/B8 use basis”.

The project benefits from grant funding from the Black Country LEP.

Airfield 55 is being marketed by joint agents, BNP Paribas Birmingham office (Andrew Cosnett) and Burley Browne Birmingham office (Mark Fitzpatrick).
