KPMG invests in healthcare practice

KPMG has announced a senior appointment to its Bristol office.  Jonathan Hale has joined the firm as a director in the healthcare practice.

Jonathan joined KPMG from Capita Consulting where he was the director lead for Capita’s consulting services to hospital clients.  Jonathan is a qualified accountant with 20 years healthcare consulting experience with PwC, Tribal and Capita.

Specialising in hospital performance and cost improvement, Jonathan has an extensive track record of supporting clients across England and Wales to achieve major improvements.   Living in Somerset and based in KPMG’s Bristol office, he will work across the UK but focus particularly on clients in the South of England and in Wales.

Phil Cotton, south regional chairman at KPMG said: “Given the current debate over the future of the health service we are about to see major changes to the way healthcare administered across the UK.  The NHS is seeking ways to manage increasing demand with funding that is not increasing at the same pace meaning providers of healthcare need the best possible advice, as they make complex changes to face these challenges.  I am delighted to welcome Jonathan to the KPMG healthcare team.  He is an expert in his field and I have no doubt that our clients will significantly benefit from his wide range of expertise.”
