Following a spate of key promotions and appointments, leading Welsh accountancy firm Kilsby & Williams has announced a new Managing Partner for the business.

Simon Tee has been with the company since its earliest days in 1991 and during that time has built up an excellent reputation within the South Wales business community.

In his new role, Simon will be responsible for shaping the firm’s business strategy, as well as dealing with the day-to-day management of the business. Simon will continue to work with his extensive portfolio of clients alongside his new role.

Simon said: “I am delighted to have been appointed managing partner at Kilsby & Williams, which I believe to be the best regional firm of accountants and tax advisors in South Wales. The firm has recently made a number of promotions and appointments at senior level which puts us in a great position to expand over the next few years and I’m really looking forward to the challenges ahead.

”The accountancy market continues to evolve with better software driving down costs and improving service. However, software doesn’t deliver experience and clients will always be drawn to the best advisors offering value for money.

“We have established an excellent team of highly qualified specialists who provide a level of technical advice and experience normally only found within the international firms. We deliver this at a much lower cost and with a more personal approach. I think this is unique to our firm and something that will continue to drive us forward.”

As well as his business interests, Simon recently completed his first Ironman and is director of Welsh Cycling, helping to support and grow the sport in Wales.

Created in 1991, Kilsby & Williams is an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and commercial business advisors. Clients are spread throughout south Wales, the Midlands and greater London.
