Select heading to The Crescent, Hinckley

The Crescent, Hinckley

High street women’s fashion company Select is returning to Hinckley after signing up to the Crescent.

The business, which has 180 stores nationwide, has taken unit A8 at the successful development and fit-out is already underway in order to see it open in time for Christmas.

The move has been welcomed by Tony Baker, of the Tin Hat Partnership – the developers behind the Crescent.

He said: “We are extremely pleased to welcome Select. There is already a very strong mix of occupiers at the Crescent but we know people in the town wanted to see further fashion choice, so to bring in a name such as Select is great news.

“It’s less than a year since Sainsbury’s first opened its doors as the first store at the Crescent and we are now getting very close to full occupation which is nothing short of a great success for the development and the whole town.

“There is very strong interest in the other remaining units and advanced talks are underway in most instances.”

Select Fashion is a high-street women’s-wear retailer aimed at 18-35 year olds. With up to 4,000 products (clothing, footwear and accessories), and new lines added each week, Select offers quality products inspired by the latest fashion trends at an affordable price.

Nick Gall, of Select – which sponsors The Only Way is Essex, said: “We previously had a store in Hinckley but there just wasn’t enough space for what we required.

“We wanted to get back into the town and the opportunity to come into the Crescent was too good to miss. We are confident it will be a popular addition to the development.”

TK Maxx, Prezzo, Wed2B, Costa, Tarro Lounge, Elbow Room, FAB, Burger King, Simply Gym, Mobility & Lifestyle, Poundland, GHM! and Rossini are all open at the scheme along with Sainsbury’s and Cineworld. Meatcure and Superdrug are also set to open.
