New Director joins Barker Storey Matthews Huntingdon office

Barker Storey Matthews are pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen Power as a Director based in the Huntingdon office. Stephen will be dealing with commercial property agency alongside the longstanding Directors, Alan Matthews and Richard Adam.

Stephen is a Chartered Surveyor of several years’ experience, having graduated from the Royal Agricultural College with a degree in Estate Management in 1997.

Stephen is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS) and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Builders (MCIOB), and an RICS registered valuer and has a wealth of experience in advising on commercial property portfolios, including undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals together with providing valuations for bank lending and security purposes as well as undertaking agency acquisition and disposal work on both a leasehold and freehold basis. Stephen also provides strategic portfolio management advice and has overseen the management of private property portfolios.

Stephen trained with Carter Jonas before moving to a Thames Valley based Chartered Surveying firm where he focused on commercial property agency, including investment and development work, acting for a range of clients, including both private individuals, and institutional investors across the Thames Valley and South East.

Stephen has strong family connections with the area and his wife is originally from Huntingdon.
