FHP appointed to manage Infinity Park

The pioneering new 100 acre Enterprise Zone in the south of Derby is being launched next Thursday and FHP Property Consultants are delighted to announce they have been appointed as managing agents.

The plots are available on a design-and-build basis for anything from office-use to industrial distribution, and smaller plots are available to help start-up companies; in total the development is expected to create 8,000 jobs.

Rob Spencer comments:

“FHP will be managing the developments’ infrastructure and communal services on behalf of the developer and occupiers to provide and maintain a high quality environment for business.

We are delighted to be working on such a landmark development which makes the East Midlands home to another pioneering commercial site that is being compared in significance to the unveiling of Pride Park, now the workplace of over 11,000 employees.”

A new link road will provide direct access to the commercial and technology park, which is connected to the A50 and is five minutes from the M1 motorway.

It is one of only a select few business parks in the UK with Enterprise Zone status, offering companies unrivalled benefits, including business rate discounts and focused support from UKTI to help reach overseas markets.

As part of the development, an £11.8m iHUB will provide access to cutting edge research and technology transfer for those in the aerospace, automotive and rail sectors. The Park is the result of combined efforts between Derby City Council, the Harpur Crewe Estate, Rolls-Royce — whose World headquarters are next to the site — and developers Wilson Bowden, Peveril Securities and Cedar House.
