A new industrial estate is set to go ahead in Coseley in a deal brokered by Black Country property agents Bond Wolfe.

A 0.7-acre site off Webb Street, with lapsed planning consent for four 2,500 sq. ft. industrial units plus associated parking, now has a new owner eager to make progress.

The site was marketed at £115,000 and the undisclosed purchaser now intends to reinstate the planning and build out the units.

The location is strategically well placed within a mile of both Birmingham New Road and the main Black Country Route, and just four miles from Junction 10 of the M6.

Situated in a mixed residential and industrial area, it had been considered suitable for either housing or commercial.

Charles London, of Bond Wolfe’s commercial agency department, said: “We are very pleased to have facilitated the sale of this longstanding vacant site.

“The recent increase in availability of finance for SMEs has led to a progressive surge in demand for good quality industrial units of this size which has subsequently seen a rise in prices.”
