Interest grows in Suffolk Business Park’s new plots

As the construction of the Eastern Relief Road (ERR) progresses, a number of high-profile gateway plots have become available as part of the creation of Suffolk Business Park.

The strategically located 56 acre business park, which is being developed by The Churchmanor Estates Company plc in a joint venture partnership with landowner Rougham Estates, is adjacent to junction 45 of the A14 and can already be accessed in part from the existing public highway. Plots are available for offices, industrial facilities, showrooms and other roadside uses.

Martin Sylvester, Director at Churchmanor Estates said: “We’ve made great progress and many businesses have already expressed an interest in locating to a prominent position at the front of Suffolk Business Park. We look forward to welcoming a range of occupiers who will have a positive and long lasting impact on the local economy.”

Simon Burton, Director of Barker Storey Matthews who are handling site enquiries, added: “Suffolk Business Park represents an exciting and important development, which Barker Storey Matthews is delighted to be involved with. We’ve received strong early interest in the Business Park, which with its prominence and close proximity to the A14, ERR and existing popular employment location is sure to be a draw for local businesses and new occupiers looking to come to the area. We see this as an important gateway site into the prime commercial area of Bury St Edmunds which will provide an attractive high-quality working environment.”

The Suffolk Business Park is located next to the 114-acre commercial site owned by Taylor Wimpey. Churchmanor Estates has worked co-operatively with St Edmundsbury Borough Council and Taylor Wimpey over the last 6 years, playing an active role in advancing the construction of the ERR. The road is due to be completed during spring 2017 and will connect the A14 at the Rougham Interchange with the Moreton Hall industrial estate.
