Raft of promotions as Wakemans gears for growth

National property and construction consultancy, Wakemans has announced a series of senior promotions to drive forward the firm’s growth strategy and increase turnover.

The company which is one of Europe’s leading privately owned construction cost and property consultants currently has three offices in Birmingham, Bristol and Caernarfon, with plans to open a London office soon.

The promotions are intended to strengthen the senior management team and provide a strong structure for organic succession to the board of directors as the company expands.

In the Birmingham office Nigel Himpson and Andrew Hancock take up new positions as senior associate directors.  They will be supported by Andrew Griffiths and Lee Lloyd who are appointed associate directors.

In the building surveying division, Adrian Cartwright is appointed to divisional director and Mike Greenway associate director.

In the Caernarfon office, Dylan Morris is promoted to divisional director and Tom Hastings to associate director.  Tony Hooper in the Bristol office is promoted to divisional director.

John Woodhall, managing director of Wakemans said: “These promotions will help us meet the objectives of a major strategy review that has set us on a course of significant growth over the next three years. We aim to increase turnover by 50% over the next three years and increase our regional presence significantly.
