The Mall at Cribbs Causeway signs premium prosecco brand’s first bar

The world’s first permanent Scavi & Ray Premium Prosecco bar has been secured by intu Experiences for The Mall at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol on behalf of the centre’s joint owners intu and M&G Real Estate.

Premium Prosecco brand Scavi & Ray, distributed in the UK by Proof Drinks Ltd, has already established itself as the number one selling premium Prosecco brand globally. It is now set to open its first permanent global Prosecco bar at the South West shopping centre to support its growing popularity in the UK market.

The Prosecco bar will occupy a 1085 sq ft space on a five-year lease in the shopping centre’s Central Atrium on the Upper Mall.

To reflect Scavi & Ray’s Italian heritage and premium identity, the bar will offer consumers a range of Scavi & Ray’s finest products including bespoke sparkling cocktails alongside Italian artisanal foods, sweet treats and a unique blend of Scavi & Ray coffee.

Paul Ferguson, Operations Director, Proof Drinks Ltd says:

“Scavi & Ray had set itself one goal, to be the number one premium Prosecco brand. With the opening of the first Scavi & Ray Prosecco bar at The Mall at Cribbs Causeway, we are truly cementing that status. The Mall is a destination with the right retail and leisure mix to entice people to spend a full day shopping and socialising, and so is the perfect location to bring the Scavi & Ray experience to new customers.”

Colin Flinn, Regional Director at intu, comments on behalf of the joint owners:

“The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is one of the UK’s leading shopping destinations with a diversified mix of tenants, and we are sure Scavi & Ray’s first ever Prosecco bar will be a success among our shoppers. This deal reflects the centre’s ability to attract world-class tenants who want to sit alongside an impressive line-up of national and international retailers including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Apple.”

The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is owned by M&G Real Estate, intu and JT Baylis. Cushman & Wakefield and Time Retail Partners represent the owners of The Mall.
