Bilfinger GVA’s Industrial Agency team has won the ‘Industrial Team of the Year’ award at the annual Property Awards, hosted by leading trade publication Property Week at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.

The leading property consultancy’s national Industrial and Distribution team has strong representation in the South West, and has been directly involved in this year’s stellar deals in the region. The team has a firm focus on providing increased strength and depth across the industrial, distribution and logistics property spectrum.

Paul Hobbs, Bristol-based Director within the Industrial and Distribution team, comments: “The team is absolutely delighted to have been presented with this prestigious award. Our clients benefit from our local and national expertise and our impressive track record in identifying opportunities through to making projects successful.”

He continues: “This year, we’ve been working on some stellar deals, especially in the South West, and have transacted on over 300 acres of development sites across the country. It’s great to have been recognised amongst our peers for these achievements.”

The South West has played a major part in Bilfinger GVA’s activity in the sector. This year the team has advised developers St Francis Group and Marcol Industrial in a major deal to acquire the former Rolls-Royce East Works site in Filton for construction of a 65-acre business park, Horizon 38. And in what is likely to be one of the biggest logistics deals in the UK this year, Bilfinger GVA advised Delta Properties in their sale of a 55 acre site at Central Park to retailer The Range for a 1.2 million sq ft distribution centre.
