‘Bounce’ jump in to Peterborough

Acting on behalf of the former owners, the Peterborough office of Barker Storey Matthews has completed the sale of a large warehouse property in Bretton to Reboot Leisure Ltd, trading as Bounce Indoor Trampoline Parks.

The 29,824 sq ft warehouse, which was being marketed at a price of £1.4 million, is located off Bretton Way and sits on a self-contained site with a large parking area to the front of the building.

Reboot Leisure Ltd opened the UK’s first indoor trampoline park in Milton Keynes in 2014, bringing a phenomenon to the UK that has already taken the United States by storm. The Peterborough site marks the beginning of their planned expansion programme and will provide a brand new leisure experience for the City.

Julian Welch, Director at Barker Storey Matthews who dealt with the transaction commented, “We are very pleased to have completed the sale of this property to Reboot Leisure. The location of the unit, combined with its excellent level of parking, made it an ideal candidate for a leisure use of this type. It will help cement this area of the City as a leisure destination, being close to the existing Ice Rink and AMF Bowling alley.”

He added “in this instance Barker Storey Matthews not only dealt with the disposal of the property, but also assisted the purchaser in engaging with local structural engineers and also obtained a planning consent for the proposed use of the building, clearly demonstrating the benefit of being able to offer a range of property services to our client base”.

Savills acted as joint disposal agents.
