Hampton Brook to develop new industrial facility in Towcester

The rarity of sites in Northamptonshire has prompted local developer Hampton Brook to look to develop a new industrial facility in Towcester – Formula 40 – a bespoke facility which could attract a wide range of uses from the automotive/motorsport industry through to trade occupiers.

The sites proximity to the A43, with neighbouring occupiers including Tesco, B&M and Porsche, would undoubtedly be attractive to trade occupiers; coupled with its location at the intersection of the A43 and A5, ensuring any occupier is well connected to the wider motorway network and within easy access of the M1 and M40 motorways.

Additionally, the property could offer a highly visible anchor for the automotive industry, which has long been recognised in Northamptonshire as a driver of the local economy in terms of jobs and value added, as well as inward investment.  Its long history in the high performance engineering sector started with Silverstone in the 1950s but has significantly expanded and diversified, putting increasing pressure to make available the right quantity and quality of land and premises to attract and retain such high value businesses.

Formula 40 could ease the constrained supply delivering a detached industrial/warehouse facility on a 2.38 acre site – strategically located on the Tove Valley Business Park, just north of Towcester town centre.  The initial proposed specification features an impressive eight metre eaves, a projecting two-storey office and amenity block, and extensive yard and generous car parking provisions.

Clemmie Hoare, Development Manager at Hampton Brook, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer this exciting opportunity which could suit a wide range of users including F1 and the high performance motor industry, as well as local businesses requiring an impressive new headquarters, or a trade related occupiers which would benefit from the sites frontage to the A43 and neighbouring retailers.”

She added: “With our philosophy of sustainable development and emphasis on delivering premium quality buildings, we are confident that Formula 40 can present such individuality and high specification as required. We are able to provide occupiers with bespoke solutions to suit individual requirements and terms are available on a freehold or leasehold basis.”
