Transformation of Central House secures early arrival of three new occupiers

Following a refurbishment of over £1m, Central House, on the corner of St Paul’s Street and Central Street in Leeds, has been radically transformed from an ageing 1980s office block into vibrant and quirky office space.

Just weeks after Moorgarth Group completed its refurbishment, the 10,500 sq ft building is now 60% let according to leasing agents JLL.  Three new occupiers, Hudson James Human Capital Group, Moorgarth Group and Reward Finance Group Limited, have all agreed lettings prior to completion of the building work. Only 4,345 sq ft remains available over the ground and first floors.

Featuring exposed services, striking glazed elevations and contemporary finishes synonymous with the London loft style; the building now offers unparalleled office accommodation not currently seen in the Leeds office market.

Hannah Partington from leasing agents JLL said: “The fact we secured three deals is a testament to Moorgarth Group, and the way this building has been sympathetically refurbished into a contemporary statement of design and practicality.  It also demonstrates that occupiers don’t just consider location and cost when looking for office accommodation; but are also searching for a fun and interesting space to come to work.”
