Brady Solicitors appoints six

(L to R): Victoria McDonagh, Annette Frost, James Wren, Clare Brady, Mark Reynolds, Lizzie Collingham, Harpreet Lehal

Specialist property litigation firm Brady Solicitors is continuing its strong growth, with the recruitment of six people to its Nottingham team.

Established in March 2008 by property litigation lawyer Clare Brady, the firm has established itself as one of the UK’s leading law firms in the property management sector, with a recognised specialism in service charge recovery and related property management disputes.

The new appointments take the total headcount at the Nottingham-based law firm to 36.

Commenting on the new appointments Clare Brady said:

‘We have enjoyed good year-on-year growth since launch but last year was exceptional, with a 36% increase in turnover and a substantial portfolio of new clients. With this growth came the need to bring in extra resource and I’m delighted that we have secured the addition of six talented individuals to our team.’

Property solicitor Harpreet Lehal has joined Brady Solicitors from a London law firm to work with the firm’s property management clients as Clare explains:

‘Harpreet brings significant experience and industry knowledge and is already proving to be a great asset. She plays a vital role not only in advising clients but also in providing technical support to our growing legal team.’

Annette Frost has joined Bradys from Nelsons Solicitors to take up the post of Head of Service Charge Recovery. Annette leads a team of lawyers, paralegals and administrators, including fellow new recruit James Wren, who also joined from Nelsons.

Conveyancing assistant Lizzie Collingham has joined the busy transactions team, working with leasehold specialist Lesley Brentnall.

Completing the crop of new recruits are marketing executive Victoria McDonagh and credit controller Mark Reynolds. Mark is an experienced credit controller and, in addition to managing the Brady Solicitors credit control function, he will provide credit control and debt recovery advice to the firm’s property management clients.

Clare Brady concludes:

‘I’m confident that we have a superb team in place and that our property management clients, both old and new, will find them a great support to their businesses. As a fast-growing law firm our door is always open to talented solicitors and administrators and we are already finalising our next tranche of expert recruits.’
