University spin off rents warehouse in St Anne’s, Bristol

VEQTER Limited has leased an industrial unit on the Unicorn Business Park in St Anne’s, Bristol.

VEQTER Ltd, which is a leading-edge spin-out company from the University of Bristol, has taken a 10 year lease of Unit 8, which extends to 6,168 sq ft, at a rent of £37,008 per annum. Knight Frank and JLL are joint marketing agents for Unicorn Business Park and Knight Frank advised the landlord in the transaction, while the tenant was represented by Colliers International.

VEQTER employs advanced technology and expertise for the measurement, analysis and management of residual stress in engineering components. The firm had previously been in occupation at two separate premises and the move demonstrates significant growth of the business.

Josh Gunn of Knight Frank’s industrial agency team in Bristol said: “This modern business park is located just two miles from the city centre with good access to the M32 M4/M5 interchange, and is proving a popular option with city centre occupiers.

Unicorn Business Park has recently undergone a significant refurbishment, resulting in three new leases being agreed in the last 12 months. As such, there is now only one unit (circa 7,000 sq ft) available to let on Unicorn Business Park.”
