Palladium Group unveils plans for Old Hall Street office buildings

Following on from the £2.7M acquisition of major Liverpool office buildings, Nations House and Stanley Hall in August this year, Palladium Group has unveiled its plans to transform and rebrand the buildings and has appointed CBRE’s Liverpool Office Agency team as joint agent with Hitchcock Wright and Partners to market the properties.

Located in Liverpool’s Central Business District, the two adjacent buildings offer a total 40,603 sq ft of office accommodation and have been renamed Helix (formerly Nations House) and Honeycomb (formerly Stanley Hall). The properties are currently undergoing major refurbishment with the completed office buildings able to offer refurbished accommodation along with showers, a roof garden, bike storage, a breakout area and meeting spaces.

Existing tenants include Sainsbury’s Supermarkets, Matthews & Goodman and Haskoning UK.

Old Hall Street is the focal point for the majority of Liverpool’s commercial development in recent years including St Paul’s Square, 20 Chapel Street and Beetham Tower. The properties are situated close to Moorfields train station which connects to Liverpool Lime Street.  Nearby occupiers include Hill Dickinson, RSA, Travelodge Central, Fazenda, Starbucks, Liverpool, Daily Post & Echo and Radisson Blu.

Spencer Bourne, Chairman at Palladium Group, said: “We are delighted with how well our first venture in Liverpool is progressing and are building on the successful model of Honeycomb Chester, which is already two thirds let. The programme of works at Honeycomb and Helix will transform the buildings into contemporary offices with a broad range of occupier facilities and we are confident that this will be a welcome addition to the Liverpool office scene.”

Andrew Byrne, Senior Surveyor at CBRE’s Liverpool office, said;

“We are delighted to have been appointed as joint agents to market two prominent office buildings on the backbone of Liverpool’s Central Business District. The investment into upgrading and rebranding the offices will result in the delivery of some much-needed, high quality office accommodation at a time when supply within the city is diminishing.”
