BJ Seals Ltd., a local Welsh family firm, has recently acquired premises in Blaenau Gwent as part of the company’s continued expansion.
Founded in 1998 by Brian Jones, BJ Seals are a specialist provider of parts to the automotive and agricultural replacement markets. The company are now a major supplier and distributor of genuine Land Rover and MG Rover parts as well as a 2 nd tier source supplier to Massey-Ferguson and a 3 rd tier source supplier to Ford Motor Company.
As part of their expansion BJ Seals have relocated from rented premises in Merthyr Tydfil to acquire premises at Rassau Industrial Estate, Ebbw Vale. This modern semi-detached unit of over 13,300 sq.ft. on a site of 1.2 ac. also provides for future on-site expansion.
Commenting on the company’s acquisition, Brian Jones of BJ Seals “We are delighted to have been able to identify a good quality modern unit which is reflective of our company image and needs. The building allows us to expand our operations as well as offering us the potential to grow the business further by utilising the expansion land to the rear”.

There is also the added potential benefit of this estate being within the Ebbw Vale Enterprise Zone which WAG hope will become a vibrant, high technology hotspot for automotive manufacturing companies of all sizes.”
