Business lunch a success as vision for future of Swansea is discussed

Swansea Bay Business Club members hosted their September luncheon last week, as Cllr Rob Stewart joined the club at The Village Hotel, at the event, sponsored by RWE.

Rob Stewart returned to speak with business club members about his year as Leader of City and County of Swansea Council, to discuss the ever-changing business landscape in Swansea Bay and the role he has played since taking over the leadership in 2014.

Having previously addressed the Club, shortly after his appointment to Leader in 2014, Rob took the opportunity to update members on the issues that are of most importance to him, including the regeneration of Swansea Bay.

Newly elected President of Swansea Bay Business Club, Hayley Davies, comments: “We were delighted to have Rob join us today. He impressed our members with his vision and determination last year and it’s great to see that one year on, he still possesses that same determination.  His vision for the future of Swansea has made for an interesting lunch for the business community of SwanseaBay and it was a great way to kick off my presidency.”

The next Swansea Bay Business Club event will take place on Friday 23rd October where the club will welcome Hugh Morris, Chief Executive of Glamorgan Cricket at the Stradey Park Hotel.
