The former GMJ Body Shop on Pensarn Road in Carmarthen has been leased to Cymru Tyres with Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) negotiating the terms of the deal.
Acting on behalf of a private landlord, the national commercial property consultancy has let the 5,275 sq ft property on ten year lease terms for a rent of £24,500 per annum.
Cymru Tyres which was previously based at Johnstown Business Park has stayed within the town, relocating to this new base which includes a rear yard and forecourt sales area.
“We specialise in fitting good quality part worn tyres as well as full garage services and so good accessibility and visibility for our customers is key for the development of our business,” says Cymru Tyres General Manager Mr J Ryan.
“Our new premises are certainly in the right location plus we’ve more room for further growth as awareness of our service offer grows.”
Adds Jason Thorne Director at LSH: “There was a lot of interest and strong competition for this unit owing to its position within what has become the prime trade centre destination within Carmarthen. We are currently seeking other opportunities in the area for more trade counter operators.”
