The nationally recognised retail property team at leading law firm Geldards has been strengthened with the appointment of Anish Raja to its Nottingham office as an Associate.
Anish joins Geldards’ team from Shakespeares’ Leicester office, having formerly worked with DLA in Birmingham and Eversheds in Nottingham. He specialises in landlord and tenant law, and has advised local, national and international retailers on their UK property portfolios, dealing with acquisitions and disposals and general real estate portfolio management.

Geldards’ firm wide retail team comprises over 60 specialist lawyers with significant retail industry experience gained from working alongside clients ranging from major PLCs to niche retailers.
The appointment of Anish follows the recent additions of Tiffany Cloynes and Heather Dixon as partners at the firm, along with Jessica Findlay who joined the retail team as a trainee legal executive in May.
