Cornwall’s largest firm of chartered surveyors has made two new appointments

Beverly Northey has joined the company’s Business Transfer Department as a commercial surveyor.

Beverley has a strong financial background having been involved in commercial lending for business purchases in the South West for the past 15 years.

Whilst her experience is primarily in the commercial sector, Beverly has also worked with large residential agencies in a management capacity.

Mary Rose Callaghan has joined the firm’s Commercial Agency Team.

Mary Rose has worked in commercial property for over five years with her most recent experience as Development Manager for the Cornwall Business Park.

She has previously worked at Jones Lang LaSalle where she was on the Land Capital Markets team dealing with development land sales, industrial properties and asset management.

Mike Nightingale, Partner and Head of Agency at Miller Commercial says “The economy has stabilised with commentators predicting a period of stability and growth. Inflation rates and interest rates remain low and banks are starting to lend consequently we have noticed a significant increase in activity across all sectors of the commercial property market.

This year we are also continuing our push into the Devon market concentrating initially on the hotel and leisure sector so Beverly and Mary Rose both make valuable additions to our team at this busy time.”
