Telecoms firm makes second acquisition in plan to dominate UK market

Telecoms firm TWL Voice and Data has acquired Bridgend based JVH Communications.

TWL will absorb all JVH Communications staff and handle the transfers of their active clients and contracts. They will work from their base at their Cardiff offices.

This is the second acquisition TWL has made after the purchase of Danwood Telecoms in 2012. The deal will see company turnover rise by 22% to £2.2 million by the end of their financial year in October. Their total number of clients will now rise to 450 active customers across the UK.

Speaking of the deal, Managing Director Andrew Nicholson said: “This deal signifies a key area of growth for our business in the foreseeable future. As well as bringing JVH staff and clients on board, this deal will allow us to make a huge stride towards dominating the telecoms market over the next five years. JVH Communications is a well respected firm with a wealth of experience going back to 1990; we will continue the good work they have done for their clients over the long history.”

TWL plan to acquire more businesses in the future as their ranks continue to increase. The business, established in 2003, is interested in absorbing small mobile and telecoms firms in South Wales.

“We are looking at further acquisitions in order to increase our size and authority in the market.” continued Nicholson, 38.  “With our depth of expertise in telecoms, as well as newer divisions such as CCTV and security, we are perfectly placed to become a UK leader within the next five years. Acquiring smaller businesses with healthy client bases allows us to grow as a company whilst consolidating our strong position.”

JVH Communications has been trading for 25 years and has a plethora of clients across South Wales.

Advising the deal was Capital Law, O’Briens & Partners and Mustard.
