Hampshire Chamber has strengthened its team in the north of the county with two senior appointments.
David Kemshall and Mark Baulch will work from the organisation’s Basingstoke office to support member businesses.
As Membership Manager, David is tasked with driving member recruitment and retention. He has taken up the role following successive promotions during more than six years at clothing retailer Primark.
He was most recently a Senior Department Manager at the chain’s Basingstoke store working with 147 staff and a £15 million annual budget.
Mark has been appointed as Business Development Manager, responsible for developing the Chamber’s external profile and partnerships in north Hampshire.
He was previously based in the Chamber’s Fareham office as regional coordinator for an £8 million business-led partnership designed to help exporters reach high-growth markets overseas.
The role involved close liaison with British Chambers of Commerce, the government’s export support department UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.

Hampshire Chamber’s Basingstoke office is the Manor House at Chineham Court, designed and built in the early 1900s by the celebrated British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens.
Now part of the Absolutely Offices campus complex, Manor House is the hub for all Chamber membership, events and international trade services in north Hampshire.
