NG manufactures office move for Nitto Kokhi Europe

Nitto Kokhi Europe, the world-renowned Japanese designer and manufacturer of high-tech components, tools and machines, has moved into new offices on the Langham Park Industrial Estate at Castle Donington, in a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.

The move to 5,638 sq ft of office and industrial space on Langham Park represents a true inward investment coup for the East Midlands, with Nitto relocating from Watford.

Jonathon Seddon, director at NG, says: “This is a great deal for Nitto – and for the East Midlands.

“The key to the success of this deal was NG responding quickly to both client and tenant demands. The landlord was willing to refurbish the premises to Nitto’s exacting standards, and the deal was turned around in super-quick time.

“Langham Park is perfect for Nitto with its easy access to the M1, as well as its growing customer base in the East Midlands.  We wish them all the very best for the future.”

He continued, “The other pleasing aspect was that we secured Nitto on a lease that ran seamlessly from the expiry of my client’s former tenant’s lease, making sure there wasn’t an occupational void for them to deal with.”

Toshi Ogue, director at Nitto Europe, explained the motives behind the office move. He said: “We wanted to get closer to our customers and potential clients in the industrial heartland of the East Midlands – and further afield – and we see our new offices at Langham Park as being ideally suited for us to do that and to break into cities such as Birmingham, Derby and Manchester.

“From Langham Park We can be more flexible and respond to customers’ requests even more quickly.

“We were delighted with the friendly, professional advice Jonathon gave us – we found the whole process superbly easy and very slick.”

“We will definitely be keeping in contact with Jonathon and NG as we are aiming to expand our business and would like to move to a bigger office in five years’ time.”

Jonathan Jenkinson, landlord, added: “We’re delighted that Nitto are coming and we hope they find great success in the region.

“I’d like to thank Jonathon and all at NG for ensuring that deal went through as quickly and as smoothly as possible.”

Castle Donington is strategically located only a quarter of a mile from the A50 dual carriageway which in turn provides quick access to both Junction 24a of the M1 motorway to the east and the M6 to the west.
